Chinmaya Vidyalaya Nauni has classes from nursery to grade XII and the medium of instruction is English. It is affiliated to the CBSE for both grade X and grade XII exams. Our students have been performing exceptionally well at the board exams since the academic session1994-95. The student teacher ratio is 1:10 so that all pupils get individual attention. The boarding school has counselors to look after children with special needs. They draw up individual learning programs suited to the child in consultation with the parents and supervise his/her progress regularly.

Weak students can attend special evening tutorials to help them cope with the curriculum. These are run by our staff who help with homework supervision or individual subject supervision depending on the child's requirements.

In addition, all grade X and grade XII students get guidance on how to tackle the board exams. Moreover, specially gifted students and those on scholarship get mentoring from our staff members.

The school encourages competition among the students and has instituted several awards and scholarships for meritorious and deserving students. Students getting 95% an above in the board exams get a laptop while those getting between 90% and 95% get a scholarship of Rs. 5100 for purchase of educational material. Students performing well in national and state level inter -school tournaments and sports meets are also given recognition and rewards. The school also organizes internal competitions and awards merit certificates for good academic performance for students of class I to IX.
