Admissions are open for all classes for the new session from nursery to class XII and the session begins on the 1st day of April every year. Registration for admission in Chinmaya Vidyalaya is on throughout the year and there is facility for online registration. You must submit the duly filled registration form along with the fees payable by a demand draft or an at par cheque. After registration, the child is called for an entrance test and interview at a suitable date at either Delhi or Solan. The final admission depends on his performance and the availability of seats in the requisite class. The entrance test assesses the child's general proficiency in Maths, Science and English. NRIs and foreigners can get direct admission depending on the seat availability.

The session for class XI starts on 15th April. Provisional admission is given in Science (Medical/ Non-Medical), Humanities or Commerce streams based on class IX final results and class X pre-board results. The admissions are confirmed after declaration of the CBSE board results in the end of May. Parents have to submit migration certificate if needed and original mark sheet of class X board exams.

Parents need to submit original school leaving certificate, six photographs of the child, original result of the last class, admission form, medical form in the given format, personal details form and the rules and regulations form duly signed. Parents need to submit original birth certificate for child admitted to nursery. NRIs and foreigners need to give a copy of the child's and their passport and a letter of acceptance from the local guardian to take responsibility for the child's well being.
