Swami Chinmayananda, a progressive soul established the Chinmaya Mission in 1951. He established around 77 Chinmaya Vidyalayas and 8 colleges based on vedantic principles in India and around the world. The educational system in these institutions is based on the Chinmaya Vision that incorporates the best of Indian culture and philosophy in its curriculum.
The aim of these boarding schools is to help in the physical, mental and spiritual development of children so that they are capable of handling challenges in a positive manner. The child is the center of the Chinmaya Vision and the goal is to make him aware of the universal issues, environmental problems so that he imbibes a holistic worldview and grows up to be a responsible citizen of the world.
The Chinmaya Vidyalaya Nauni provides ample scope for children to discover their talents and abilities while imparting skills to contribute to society and the nation in a constructive manner. In achieving the vision of Swami Chinmayananda a dedicated team of teachers and support staff at Nauni is helping mould young minds to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
